Fall in Harbor Country

Fall in Southwest Michigan is perfection. From quiet walks on the beach, to Oktoberfests and vineyard harvests, pumpkin patches and apple orchards, Harbor Country has it all!

Peak fall foliage is predicted to hit SW Michigan in mid-October. Plan a visit to catch the best of the fall colors, and all the fall fun!

Catch the fall colors at these perfect look-out points!

Our favorite places to leaf peep are walks in the woods (Warren Woods, Galien River County Park, and any of the Chikaming Open Lands preserves) and hikes on the Dunes (at Warren Dunes State Park or Indiana Dunes National Park) where you can see the colorful trees for miles! Or, enjoy some views while sipping wines on the patio overlooking vineyards with forests of colors in the backdrop at Dablon or Filkins Vineyards.

Enjoy the best of fall at our favorite farms!

Check out Twin Maple Orchards for apple picking and fall fun! (15352 Cleveland Ave Galien, Michigan 49113)

Visit Dinges Fall Harvest for every shape, size, and color of pumpkin and gourd! (15219 Mill Rd, Three Oaks, MI 49128)

Spend the afternoon in the Vineyard at Lemon Creek Winery where you can U-Pick Apples and Grapes, as well as taste the many delicious wines they produce. (533 E Lemon Creek Rd, Berrien Springs, MI 49103)
