General Policies

Arrivals & Departures

We invite you to check in between the hours of 4 and 7 pm Eastern.

  • Early check in (1:30 pm) can be accommodated for a $25 fee. You can add this on when booking, or contact us.
  • Later check ins can be accommodated; please contact us in advance to arrange check in after 7 pm ET.
  • In an effort to preserve a good night's rest for all our guests, we cannot accommodate any check ins after 11 pm Eastern Time.

Check out time is by 11 am ET.

  • Late check-outs (1:00 pm) may be accommodated for a $25 fee, subject to availability. You can add this on when booking, or contact us.

Minimum Stay Requirements

Throughout the summer, there is a two-night minimum stay on weekends. Throughout the year, there may also be two-night minimums on holidays such as New Year's, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, etc.

Deposit & Balance Due

A deposit of 50% of the total reservation, including taxes, is due at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation. The balance of the reservation will be charged to your card on file 4 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations

Due to the intimate size of our inn, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

  • All cancellations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee, per room.
  • Should your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, notice of cancellation or a shortened stay is required 14 days in advance of your arrival date. You will be refunded your deposit, minus a $25 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations or shortened stays made 5 - 13 days in advance of the arrival date may be refunded (minus the $25 fee) should the night(s) be re-booked. We will do all we can to fill the rooms, however if the night(s) are not re-booked, the deposit will not be refunded.
  • Cancellations (including no-shows and shortened stays) made within 5 days of the arrival date will be charged in full.
  • NOTE: Extended stays (7+ days), multiple room blocks (3+ rooms), and special weekends (such as Knitting Retreats or Destination Book Club) require a 30-day notification for a refund of the deposit (minus the $25 fee). No-shows, early departures or cancellations made less than 14 days before the start of the stay for these situations will be charged in FULL.
  • Please consider trip insurance for your stay. It is easy and affordable!

Occupancy

The maximum occupancy per room is 2 people.

Pets

We welcome well-behaved dogs in the Carriage House (The Garden Retreat, Lavender Suite and Woodlands Suite). There is a $50 fee per pet, per stay. Dogs must be crated if left alone in the room, and leashed while on the property. The maximum is two dogs per room.

Guests

Only registered guests are allowed on the premises. If you'd like to have additional friends/family members to the inn, please make arrangements with the innkeeper.

Parking

The inn is pleased to offer complimentary parking on-site; we provide one spot per room. Let us know if you'll have multiple cars per room.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the Inn or on the balconies. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged if you smoke in your room.

Damages

We reserve the right to hold guests financially accountable for any damage to the property caused by persons or pets in their group. This includes misuse or abuse of property, including overflowing the jacuzzi tub, stained linens due to spills or make-up, etc.

Candles

Candles are not permitted anywhere on property.

Firearms

No firearms allowed in any buildings at any time. Please leave them at home or locked in your vehicle.
