General Policies
Arrivals
We invite you to check in between the hours of 4 and 7 PM Eastern. Late arrivals can be accommodated; please contact us in advance to arrange a late arrival. Early arrivals can also be accommodated for a $25 fee. You can add this on when booking, or contact us.
Departures
Check out time is by 11 AM ET. Late departures may be able to be accommodated for a $25 fee. You can add this on when booking, and we'll confirm it within 24 hours, or contact us.
Minimum Stay Requirements
Throughout the summer, there is a two-night minimum stay on weekends and holidays; these holidays may include Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
Deposit
A deposit of 50% of the total reservation, including taxes, is due at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation. The balance will be charged upon arrival.
Cancellations
Due to the intimate size of our inn, we have to adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
- All cancellations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee, per room.
- Deposits (minus the fee) will be returned to the guest if the cancellation is made 14 or more days before the start of the stay.
- Deposits (minus the fee) will be returned to the guest if the cancellation is made 5-13 days before the stay and the room can be re-booked. If the room cannot be re-booked, the deposit will not be returned.
- In the case of a no-show, early departure or cancellation/modification made less than 5 days before the planned arrival, the cost of the reservation will be charged in FULL.
- NOTE: Major holidays (Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's), extended stays (7+ days) and multiple room reservations (3+ rooms) require a 30-day notification for a refund of the deposit (minus the fee). No-shows, early departures or cancellations/modifications made less than 14 days before the start of the stay for these situations will be charged in FULL.
Please consider trip insurance for your stay. It is very easy and affordable!
Occupancy
The maximum occupancy per room is 2 people.
Pets
We welcome well-behaved dogs in the Carriage House (The Garden Retreat, Lavender Suite and Woodlands Suite). There is a $50 fee per pet, per stay. Dogs must be crated if left alone in the room, and leashed while on the property. The maximum is two dogs per room.
Parking
The inn is pleased to offer complimentary parking on-site; we provide one spot per room. Let us know if you'll have multiple cars per room.
Smoking
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the Inn or on the balconies. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged if you smoke in your room.
Damages
We reserve the right to hold guests financially accountable for any damage to the property caused by persons or pets in their group. This includes misuse or abuse of property, including overflowing the jacuzzi tub, stained linens due to spills or make-up, etc.
Candles
Candles are not permitted anywhere on property.
Firearms
No firearms allowed in any buildings at any time. Please leave them at home or locked in your vehicle.
